If you led on a guy at all and you get “raped” you aren’t a victim, you are a slut.

How is one “led on” to rape? What actions actually inspire regular, human men to suddenly become rapists? Further, depending on your definition of “leading someone on”, in order to not do that, you must always be sure of all decisions at all times. You are not allowed to be curious about whether you like a guy, and then realize you’re not into him. If you like him at the beginning, you’re not allowed to stop, even if you are bored, turned off, annoyed or even disgusted by him. You’re not allowed to have feelings that make you want to not hang out as much as he does, or that make you not want to go any further in the relationship. If you talk about someday having sex, you have to have sex with him, even if you decide you want to wait or if he’s not the right one - otherwise you led him on! Maybe you should just not have a relationship with anybody - don’t want to risk having feelings of your own and hurting his feelings. You know, because rape is what men do when they have their feelings hurt.

If you abort your baby or give it up for adoption you are not “a mother” you are irresponsible and are too stupid to be having sex in the first place.

Of course a person who aborts or gives up a child is not a mother, they decided not to have a child. That’s the whole reason people do those things - to not become mothers. Furthermore, perfectly responsible people who already have kids decide to have abortions. But hey, I hope you can follow your own rules - either don’t have sex, or woman up and have all the babies you get pregnant with! Have fun buying all those diapers and baby foods… or you know, just being sexless forever, if that’s what you decide. Those are the only options, don’t you know…

If you have sex and then later tell everyone you were raped so you don’t have to own up for your mistakes, you aren’t a victim you are an assailant.

If you have sex and later tell everyone you were raped, it’s because you realized you were raped - doing something to you that you didn’t agree to is rape, no matter how much else you agreed to.

Also, if you are in fact lying about being raped, you’ll never go to court. Police already don’t believe real victims. Guess why, you rape apologist! Plus, there are already laws in place to deal with people who lie about crimes, it’s not like you have to run around insulting hypothetical people in order to save the world. Nice effort, though.

If you show your tits and ass cheeks all the time but get mad when unattractive people or undesirable people check you out, you are stupid cunt.

It’s rude to stare, it’s illegal to harrass people. If someone “undesirable” makes advances, you are allowed to tell them to stop, and if they don’t you take legal action. That’s a human right. But hey, if you want to forfeit that, and just get catcalled all the time and groped and “hey baby”ed, you go right ahead. I’ll be over here not believing I deserve crap just because I’m a woman.

If you claim that you were “tricked” into having sex, you aren’t a victim you are a stupid little girl who shouldn’t be allowed to make adult decisions because you are too stupid to make one as simple as weather or not you should let a guy fuck you.

Okay, so when a guy is threatening you with violence, or abusing you, or keeping your friends from helping you, you can come back later and tell me how simple it is to say just “no” when he tells you to take off your clothes or he’ll make your life hell, and you don’t doubt him. I’ll wait.

If you are a minor and you consent to sex with an adult, and then you act like a victim when he gets arrested, you are a stupid cunt slut. If you have sex with an adult and you don’t stick up for him and take the blame, you are ruining his life.

If you call yourself a feminist yet you believe that women should be able to hit men but not get hit by men, you are not an equalist you are selfish, stupid, and just as oppressed as what real feminist are trying to fight against.

What planet are you from? Have you not noticed yet that men think hitting women is funny? Have you noticed that women, after centuries of oppression and violence, are only just now gaining ahold of proper self defense strategies? Women need to hit men back, or die without a sound. Oh, but you think you deserve whatever you get, because boobs and testosterone. That sounds like Real Feminism, A+!

These are what I believe and if you disagree than I believe you fall into these categories.

How’s that job you’re ashamed of going for you? Having fun with your life, believing that you deserve to be raped if you happen to trust someone who pretended they weren’t a rapist? Good. You go right ahead and be secure in your beliefs.

But do it somewhere the fuck else, you horrible excuse for a human being.

SlutWalk London: the radical notion that nobody deserves to be raped.

We want to make this year’s rally bigger and better than last year! We hope you will all join us in September to protest the silencing of our voices, the repression of our choices and the violence against our bodies. 

This year we will be back even louder than before!

SlutWalk Toronto is Tomorrow, Friday the 25th May!

The birthplace of SlutWalk, Toronto, Canada… are having their 2012 walk on Friday 25th May at 5pm!

Due to availability of public space in Toronto, they had to have a slight shift in time and date, so here is the event page on facebook.

Friday 25th May, 5pm - At Nathan Phillips Square. The rally will start walking at 5:30 sharp up University Ave. to Queen’s Park. Speakers will be at Queen’s Park between 6:30 and 7pm, finishing up around 8 p.m. There is also an official afterparty!

Wow, does anyone have an “internalised misogyny alert” I can put as a warning on this quote? 

Women using their own bodies, their own identities, their own style and their own voices as a form of protest is “intellectually inferior”? Women challenging social constructions is intellectually inferior? Women who use their bodies as political statements and refuse to be shamed by society for it are intellectually inferior?  

People still cannot grasp the idea of a woman using her body for herself - as a statement. They belittle and mock the idea of it by calling it “attention seeking” - as if that’s the only thing a female body is good for. They’re buying into the same seixsm as the rest of society.

There’s a quote I come back to time and time again about nudity and protest, which was originally about FEMEM but fits this rather well…

“Women’s bodies are sold everyday in advertisements. They are controlled by the state. They are abused, raped, sexually harassed, and subject to public scrutiny. P.S I think they can make a differance because it’s making society question.   

I thought we were past the whole body/mind dichotomy, and could recognize physicality and intellect simultaneously in people. Didn’t Hollywood make a bunch of movies about that?

Oh no wait, that was when they dismantled the jock/nerd dichotomy, and it was just for boys.

It’s your prerogative for not wanting to be called a slut, but don’t refer to it as a “dirty word” if others wish to reclaim it.  It is only nasty, demoralizing, or dehumanizing if you view it that way, and by doing so you’re only perpetuating that stereotype and hurting those who want to use it as something liberating.
